GSPro lists the Garmin R50 on its supported-device page. Its Garmin Approach R50 connection guide gives two paths. The direct connection over the R50's own hotspot Wi-Fi is the one GSPro recommends, and it passes your internet connection through the R50. The shared home Wi-Fi network is the second path, which GSPro calls easier to set up but potentially less reliable. The R50 then appears in the GSPro Connect application. No captured Garmin page names GSPro, so the listing here comes from the software publisher.
